Saskatoon Closes 2nd Ave N and Restricts Clarence Ave S for Sewer Work Sept. 11

Saskatoon drivers will find 2nd Avenue North closed between 23rd Street East and 24th Street East on Sept. 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for road work, one of several new Priority 1 restrictions in the city's daily road report. Clarence Avenue South has northbound and southbound traffic restrictions between 5th Street East and 4th Street East from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for sewer work.

Spadina Crescent East has northbound and southbound restrictions from 22nd Street East to 23rd Street East from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the Colliers Cup Charity Street Hockey Tournament. Circle Drive East northbound has a speed reduction from College Drive to 108th Street West from 9 a.m. to noon for overpass maintenance.

Central Avenue northbound has its parking lane closed from 110th Street West to 111th Street West from 10 a.m. to noon for sewer work. Preston Avenue North has northbound and southbound restrictions from 14th Street East to Field House Road starting at noon and continuing until Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. for Link Station construction.

Overnight work begins at 7 p.m. Circle Drive West westbound has median and centre lanes closed from Avenue B North to Avenue C North until Sept. 12 at 6 a.m. for overnight road work. Avenue C North northbound is closed from 39th Street West to 41st Street West until Sept. 12 at 6 a.m. for overnight road resurfacing.

Several ongoing restrictions end Sept. 11. 8th Street East eastbound lanes are closed from Circle Drive East to Moss Avenue until 6 a.m. for overnight drilling. Acadia Drive southbound is closed from 8th Street East to Highlands Crescent until 6 a.m. for overnight drilling. 3rd Avenue North southbound lanes are closed from Duke Street to Princess Street until 6 a.m. for sewer work. Idylwyld Drive North northbound lanes are closed from 22nd Street East to 25th Street West until 6 a.m. for sewer work.

Other ongoing work ending Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. includes the eastbound curb lane on 22nd Street West at Avenue D South for road work, traffic restrictions on Hart Road eastbound and westbound from Betts Avenue to Shillington Crescent for traffic calming, and the westbound parking lane on Kerr Road from Kaplan Green to Collins Crescent for sidewalk repairs.

Avenue C North has westbound and southbound curb and centre lanes and the northbound ramp closed from Faithfull Avenue to 47th Street West until Sept. 12 at 6 a.m. for overnight road resurfacing. Victoria Avenue northbound is closed from 2nd Street East to 4th Street East until Sept. 14 at 5 p.m. for water main work. 4th Avenue North is closed northbound and southbound from 24th Street East to 25th Street East until Sept. 14 at 5 p.m. for water main work.

Preston Avenue North westbound from Circle Drive East to Preston Avenue North is restricted until Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. for Link Station construction. The westbound curb lane on 20th Street West is closed from Avenue M South to Avenue P South until Sept. 19 at 5 p.m. for construction. Broadway Avenue is closed from 2nd Street East to 4th Street East until Sept. 20 at 5 p.m. for a water main project.

Spadina Crescent East northbound has reduced lane width at 25th Street East until Sept. 21 at 5 p.m. for construction. Preston Avenue North northbound and southbound from 14th Street East to Field House Road is restricted until Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. for Link Station construction. The intersection of 25th Street East and 2nd Avenue North is closed until Sept. 27 at 5 p.m. for water main work.

Lorne Avenue northbound is closed from Willow Street East to Maple Street East with two-way traffic in the southbound lanes until Sept. 30 at 5 p.m. for road work. College Drive has traffic restrictions from Hospital Drive to Cumberland Avenue for Link construction, with two-way traffic maintained in the eastbound lanes. Wiggins Avenue is open for westbound to northbound and southbound to westbound right turns only. Saskatchewan Crescent access from College Drive is closed. University Drive northbound between Elliot Street and College Drive is closed. Access to Munroe Avenue at College Drive is closed.
