Lunenburg district seeks three volunteers for Sawpit Wharf advisory committee

The Municipality of the District of Lunenburg is seeking three volunteers to serve on the Sawpit Wharf Advisory Committee, the municipality said in a notice published Oct. 16, 2026. Applicants must have a community interest in Sawpit Wharf, and terms of appointment are three years.1

The deadline to submit an application is Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026. Applicants fill out the Sawpit Wharf Committee Application Form, and the terms of reference are attached in the same file, the municipality said.1

The Council for the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg will make the committee appointments. The municipality directed questions to its Department of Recreation, Parks, & Tourism at recreation@modl.ca or (902) 541-1343.1
