Water will be shut off in the MacLeods Crossing – Steeles Hill area of Glace Bay on Monday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Cape Breton Regional Municipality says.
Crews need the shutoff to complete connections on MacLeods Road as part of ongoing water infrastructure upgrades. Only customers inside the mapped area will lose service, and the municipality says all affected streets and properties are outlined in the map attached to its notice.
Affected streets are MacLeods Road (Reserve Street to Dominion Street), Dominion Street (MacLeods Road to Highland Street), Highland Street (Dominion Street to Grove Street), Carendalee Crescent, Copley Street, Smith Street, Norwood Street, Steeles Hill Road, Harrington Street, MacLennan Street, Simpson Lane, Dutch Lane and Wilson Road (MacLeods Road to Civic 135 Wilson Road).
