College Drive will be closed between Hospital Drive and Wiggins Avenue in Saskatoon on Sunday, Oct. 18, starting at 5 a.m., so the City can install new traffic signals at College Drive and Hospital Drive. The City said the work is part of ongoing roadway corridor improvements in the area.1

Access to and from Royal University Hospital and Jim Pattison Children's Hospital will be affected. Electronic message boards and traffic detour signage will guide drivers through the work zone and through hospital entrances and exits, the City said.1

The restrictions will be lifted once traffic signal installation is complete late Sunday afternoon. Saskatoon Transit may be affected by the detours, and the City points riders to transit service alerts and real-time bus information on third-party apps such as Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.1

Current road restrictions and construction information are posted at saskatoon.ca/construction, according to the City.1
