Prince Edward Island is continuing to support local organizations that help address food insecurity across the province, with the Community Food Fund providing grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 to eligible community-based organizations to help stabilize the food supply for vulnerable PEI residents.
The provincial government says the fund is open to groups delivering services including food banks, community fridges, food cupboards, food pantries and food hampers.

Applicants must submit a completed application form that includes organizational details, service delivery information and a proposed spending plan. Only one application per organization will be accepted.
