The Government of Canada launched a selection process to find Canada Post's next President and Chief Executive Officer, according to a statement issued Sept. 8 by Joël Lightbound, Minister of Government Transformation, Public Works and Procurement and Quebec Lieutenant.1

Lightbound issued the statement in his capacity as minister, the government announcement says. The statement is the only content the government released with the launch.1
