Ontario activates disaster recovery assistance after April flooding

Ontario has activated its Disaster Recovery Assistance program for residents in areas of Billings, North Bay, Minden Hills and Muskoka Lakes following overland flooding in April 2026, the province said Sept. 18. Residents in those areas of Ontario can now apply for financial support.
