Loon Lake RCMP investigate reported stabbing at Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation

Mounties say an adult male was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a report of a stabbing at a house on the First Nation.

Loon Lake RCMP say they received a report of a stabbing at a house on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation on Sept. 18 at around 1:00 p.m., according to a release the detachment published Sept. 22.

The RCMP say the stabbing is reported to have occurred during an altercation. The injured adult male was transported to hospital for treatment of what were described as serious injuries.
