The Leakbee Carbon Monoxide Detector has been recalled because it does not have a Canadian certification mark and may inaccurately detect carbon monoxide, posing a potential carbon monoxide poisoning hazard, according to a recall notice from the federal consumer product regulator. As of Oct. 16, 2026, the company had received one report of an inaccurate carbon monoxide reading and no reports of injury in Canada, the notice said.1
