Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang are beginning their 21st season together with the Pittsburgh Penguins, the National Hockey League says.

Crosby and Malkin are forwards and Letang is a defenceman. The league calls the three the keystone to the most decorated era in the franchise's history.

Pittsburgh has won the Stanley Cup three times, in 2009, 2016 and 2017, since Malkin and Letang joined.
