Canada's services trade deficit widens to $0.5 billion in May
Imports of services rose 2.0 per cent to $21.2 billion while exports edged up 0.9 per cent to $20.8 billion, Statistics Canada reports.
Canada's international trade in services deficit widened to $0.5 billion in May from $0.2 billion in April, Statistics Canada reported July 7. Imports of services increased 2.0 per cent to $21.2 billion, while exports rose 0.9 per cent to $20.8 billion.1
The agency did not state whether the figures were seasonally adjusted, and the release gives no year-earlier comparison for either flow.1
