Burin Peninsula RCMP arrest man, 34, after flight from traffic stop

Police say the man fled an attempted traffic stop near Garnish on Friday afternoon and crashed his vehicle nearby. He faces charges of mischief, flight from police and dangerous driving.

Burin Peninsula RCMP arrested a 34-year-old man on Friday afternoon after he fled from an attempted traffic stop near Garnish and crashed his vehicle nearby, according to RCMP B Division in Newfoundland and Labrador.1

Police charged the man with mischief, flight from police and dangerous driving. His vehicle was seized by police and impounded, the RCMP said.1
